Rock-A-Thon

Hosted by Cleveland State University, the Rock-A-Thon will raise money for Sickle Cell Anemia. Students will sign up to keep a chair rocking for eight straight hours. There is also a Pennies for a Purpose coin drive that runs from September 8, 2008 thru October 27th, 2008. The Rock-A-Thon will be held on October 29th starting at 9am. CHAMPPS Meeting
C.H.A.M.P.P.S. is a group that holds meetings monthly for youth, ages 10-17. This program gives youth affected by sickle cell disease the opportunity to enjoy themselves while learning about the disease. The next meeting will be held Saturday September 27, 2008  from 12 noon - 2:00pm at the Cleveland Heights Main Library. 2345 Lee Rd Cleveland Hts., OH 44118
